Grants awarded by The Williamsport Kiwanis Foundation

The Williamsport Kiwanis Foundation is pleased to announce 6 grants of $8,300 were
awarded in December 2025. The Foundation was incorporated in 1963 with the objective
to expend funds to support activities to include but are not limited to improving the
physical and mental wellbeing of young children.

All grants must further the mission and ideals of Kiwanis International and the Kiwanis
Club of Williamsport to improve the lives of children in our community and the
world. Since 2018, the Foundation has awarded over $79,900 in grants of $28,000 to the
Kids United Playground Project and $51,900 Grants to various Community Non-Profits.
2025 Grantees: American Rescue Workers $2,000 holiday food distribution; Camp Koala
$1,000 youth grief support camps; Camp Susque $2,000 community learning spaces;
Church Women United $300 children’s busy bags and fidget quilts; Dwell Orphan Care
$2,000 Walk with HOPE & DIGNITY; Saint John’s School of the Arts $1,000 Journey to the
Kingdom of Sweets.
