Greetings PA District! As you read this blog, I will be traveling to Kiwanis International Convention in Manila, Philippines! I am looking forward to catching up with some friends from the Kiwani-verse, learning a lot and the beautiful culture of the Asia-Pacific!
I wanted to highlight a few things for you:
· WE HAVE A NEW CLUB IN THE PENNSYLVANIA DISTRICT!!! Please give a warm K-Family Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Bethlehem Area that organized on 6/11/2026!
o Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Allentown Northeast for sponsoring this new club and to Club Coaches Diane Farleigh and Jeff Rose.
o I cannot wait to see the impact this new club will have in their community!
o This is the 3rd new club this year and the 5th new club since 2024! #manyhandsmakingadifference
· We are continuing this growth momentum…
o We have another new club opening scheduled for July 13-15 in the St. Mary’s area
o We will have a 3 club opening Blitz in Region 2 September 27-October 1. We are partnering with KI in this effort. (Stay tuned for updates on this project)
· We are also monitoring and assisting club with strengthening efforts. Club Strengthening Coordinator, Valerie Rose, coordinated speakers from different clubs throughout different Kiwanis districts on topic of club strengthening for Membership May webinars. These were very informative and interactive, sharing creative ideas where these clubs had growth successes. These webinars were recorded—you may want to take advantage of listening to these recordings before they expire.
· Club Leadership Education (CLE) is being rolled out beginning in July and there will be webinars for club officers: President, Secretary, Treasurer and Club Membership Chair. Webinars are scheduled throughout July. Register for one of the webinars (see the flyer included in this bi-weekly email information). Set yourself up to lead the club to continue your legacy and impact.
· District Convention registration is open! Do NOT miss out on this Convention in Gettysburg August 13-16. There is a lot in store and being planned! Be a part of the History of Service!
