Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes.
The mission of Little Free Library is to have a library in every community and a book for every reader. They believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant boo to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege.
Kiwanis and Little Free Library are partnering to expand access to books in communities around the world.
Kiwanis International partners with the Little Free Library (LFL) nonprofit organization to increase book access by installing and stewarding Little Free Library book-sharing boxes in local communities worldwide. Clubs often build and maintain these libraries to support childhood literacy, frequently offering branded charter signs for their libraries.
