Celebrating Our Kiwanis Community: Every Member Matters

Being a Kiwanian means more than wearing a pin or showing up to meetings—it means making a difference, day in and day out, often in ways that go unseen. Whether you’re leading a project, showing up early to set up, or quietly lending your skills behind the scenes, your impact matters.

Let’s make it a habit to recognize each other—not just for the big things, but for the little things too. A quick shoutout, a thank-you, or a spotlight can go a long way. We should also be celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and highlighting a “Member of the Month” to shine a light on those who go above and beyond, especially those who may not always be front and center.

Honoring Milestones and Dedication

To further honor our members’ dedication, we recognize significant milestones:

· Ruby K Award: This award honors Kiwanians who have recruited five or more new members during their Kiwanis career. Pins are awarded for each increment of five new members, starting at five and continuing in multiples of five.

· Legion of Honor: This prestigious recognition is given to members with 25 or more years of service. Recognition continues in five-year increments, with certificates and pins reflecting the number of years served.

Every Kiwanian brings something special to our club. Let’s continue to lift each other up and show appreciation for the heart, time, and dedication that make our mission possible.

Now, please join me in welcoming the following new members who recently joined our district.
