Pennsylvania District Awards
District Convention Recognition and Awards
The following are recognized at District Convention and accomplishments are from the period of July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026. Deadline for these awards are July 17, 2026.
Pennsylvania District Distinguished Kiwanian Award Eligibility for the Pennsylvania District Distinguished Kiwanian Award requires the following accomplishments during the period of July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026. All entries must be received on or before July 17, 2026.
2026 Distinguished Kiwanian Criteria includes:
Participated in three (3) club service projects and have 36 hours of service.
Attended club service project, event OR club meeting monthly.
Chair/Co-Chair one (1) club project or event that serves the community members in a positive impactful way while branding Kiwanis in the community.
Sponsored one new member or invite three (3) prospective members to a club meeting or event through the award period.
Participated in two (2) service projects/fundraisers/club meetings of ANOTHER Kiwanis Club(s), or Service Leadership Program(s) virtually or in-person.
Attended three (3) club board meetings.
Attended two (2) District, Regional or Divisional events virtually or in-person.
Kiwanis Hero in Service Award Webster defines a Hero as one who shows courage, outstanding achievement or noble qualities. For Kiwanians, our Heroes are those who embody the Objects of Kiwanis by example. Those who have stepped forward with gusto or in quiet to provide leadership, support and/or service to our club, our members and/or our community. Award Criteria are available HERE. All entries must be received on or before July 17, 2026.
Retired Awards This year, PA District will not be accepting nominations for the Club and Community Communications Award or the Prayer Breakfast Award.
Kiwanis International Awards
There are Kiwanis International awards that Kiwanians are encouraged to review. These awards are managed and awarded by Kiwanis International. Honor your fellow Kiwanians with these international recognition including the Ruby K award, International Distinguished Member, Life Membership (International), Legion of Honor, Robert P. Connelly Medal of Heroism, or the Marc H. Litwack Legacy of Leadership Award Nomination. Read more on the requirements and how to apply for these special Kiwanis International Awards.
